The HR team is committed to ensuring that the experience of employees is fulfilling, engaging, gives purpose and adds value. We tie in performance appraisal and compensation to competency using effective techniques in order to develop those competencies and enhance individual and organisational performance. Partnering with our management team, we work to increase the innovation, creativity and flexibility necessary to enhance employees’ experience and our competitiveness.
Our HR specialists are always applying new approaches to work via process design, succession planning, career development and inter-organisational mobility. The hiring process starts with identifying our staffing needs and determining our selection criteria, before proactively sourcing potential candidates through online platforms, recruitment events, partner agencies, our own networks and our current employees. Learning and Development
The Learning and Development team is responsible for the learning, training and development of our people group wide. The team partners with departments across the business to offer learning solutions to identified skills or knowledge gaps across teams and individuals. In addition to this, the team is also responsible for all compliance training groupwide, the company mentoring scheme, and SkillMeHub – our online learning platform. All staff have access to training in areas such as leadership, health and safety, and Microsoft Office courses, with much more to come.
The Legal team supports business decisions, ensuring legal risk is identified and mitigated across the various relationships the business has with customers, suppliers, marketing partners and more. Our Legal team actively tries to remove the legalese from as many areas as possible. Our view is that legal documents, especially customer-facing documents, should be simple and straightforward, while still protecting our business values and mitigating risk. Being able to do that is a trait that few legal professionals have – and these are the people we recruit to our Legal department.
Procurement and Vendor Management
The Procurement department works alongside all stakeholders to build a scalable and sustainable third-party supplier network that will support business growth and profitability. We oversee the onboarding process to ensure vendor due diligence is carried out and maintained. Our objective is to add value through strategic procurement processes, best practice, budget control and visibility, and effective supplier relationship management.
Our Finance department consists of specialist teams working together to ensure the effective management of our financial processes, reporting, planning and payments. Each team has specific responsibilities:
Using the latest quantitative and qualitative methods, the Planning and Analysis team evaluates company progress and maps out future plans, assessing economic and business trends to forecast our future financial results.
Specialists in accounting operations, the Controlling team works to streamline and improve our accounting systems, while taking care of all billing, cost accounting, general ledger and counsel, and inventory accounting.
The Reporting team analyses, manages and presents our financial reports, ensuring their relevancy, accuracy and timely delivery, while the Treasury team analyses transactions and investment accounts, keeping track of all expenses and informing our approach to financial planning and risk management.
The work of our Finance teams is essential to informing our decision-making and improving our business strategies.
