Every customer is different, so we may ask for different details according to a customer’s deposits, win/loss ratio or other betting behaviour. Of course, we ensure all customers’ information is kept private and confidential at all times.
We want our customers to enjoy their gambling experience, but more importantly, we want them to play and bet within their means.
As a gambling operator, it is important for us to try to prevent individuals spending more than they can afford to lose. For this reason, we may conduct affordability checks to help identify customers who we think may be at risk of spending beyond their means.
Our affordability checks could require our customers to provide information about their circumstances and/or supporting documentation. At times, we may verify any information provided with a credit reference agency.
If a customer plays or bets beyond certain thresholds, we may request copies of documentation to verify their personal circumstances. This is an attempt to verify that our customers are gambling within their means.
